How to play
Fill the empty cells with numbers 1 to 4. Each number must appear exactly once in each row, each column, and each of the four 2x2 sub-grids. Fixed numbers are shown in grey.
About Sudoku Light
This is a compact four-by-four version of Sudoku. Fill the grid with the numbers 1 to 4 so that every row, every column and every two-by-two box contains each number exactly once.
Because the grid is small, a puzzle takes only a couple of minutes, which makes it a good introduction to full-size Sudoku.
Tips to play better
- Start with rows or columns that already have three numbers.
- Use the two-by-two boxes to rule out numbers.
- If a cell can only hold one number, fill it in before moving on.
