About Tetris
In this falling-blocks puzzle, pieces of different shapes drop from the top and you rotate and slide them into place. Filling a complete horizontal row clears it and earns points, while gaps and tall stacks bring the game closer to its end.
Tetris trains quick spatial thinking: you have only a moment to decide where each shape fits best. Short sessions work well, and your sense of which piece goes where improves quickly with practice.
Tips to play better
- Keep the surface of your stack as flat as possible.
- Leave a spot for long pieces instead of filling every gap with whatever arrives.
- Do not stack too high in one column; clear rows steadily to stay in control.
